    Getting ready to study U.S. Presidents this February? These high-interest informative nonfiction close reading passages and research writing activities will help your students learn about U.S. Presidents and conduct research on a U.S. President of their choice!

    Included are 6, two-page articles to help your students understand and learn about a wide range of U.S. Presidents and their time in the White House all while they gather important information as they read informational text.

    Close reading anchor charts are also included to help your students understand the text more deeply.

    These passages and the comprehension activities will have your students critically thinking and reflecting as they read high-interest social studies content within informational texts.

    Directions are clear and easy to understand for the research project and come in two layouts for students to either work at their own pace or work as a class step by step.
