Prenatal Development Interactive Digital Notebook
Description
This interactive digital notebook has short animated prenatal development videos along with drag and drop activities to complete the sentences/information from the videos. Each video is a time period of prenatal development. *Note, the last video for weeks 28-37 of pregnancy (even though animated) states, "This video may be inappropriate for some viewers" but the only thing is shows is the woman's pregnant body and breasts for a few seconds and then focuses on the fetus. The digital notebook also has drag and drop activities for diagram labeling for learning conception, reproduction, and fetal/pregnancy anatomy. Also included is key vocabulary words, definitions, a reflection and portion at the end along with a grading rubric explanation. There is also a learning target and success criteria at the beginning as well as the National Family & Consumer Sciences Standard. This digital notebook could take about a week to a week and half for students to complete if you are incorporating formative assessments like entry tasks, exit tickets, time for questions etc. Students will love this notebook because it is visual, engaging and interesting.
