In this never ending bundle you will get:

    • How To Have A Conversation Activity: Designed for upper elementary, middle school, and high school students, this NO PREP social story activity was created to help students with pragmatic language disorders learn the fundamentals of conversation. It breaks down and teaches seven important aspects of having a conversation- looking/smiling, asking questions, finding common interests, taking turns talking, stay on topic, adding comments, and ending the conversation politely.
    • Empathy and Emotions Activities: This resource contains no prep activities to help your upper elementary, middle school, and high school students explore complex emotions and understand how to empathize with others. The following emotions are targeted: Pride, Relief, Embarrassment, Envy, Regret, Contentment, Frustration, Disappointment.
    • Making Friends Social Story Activities: Your upper elementary through high school students with pragmatic language disorders will learn how to make a friend with this interactive social skills activity. The activity uses a social story to teach the 8 basic steps to making a friend, then there are 12 companion worksheets that can be used to help students practice the skills they learned.
    • Recess Social Story Activities: Your upper elementary students with social language disorders will learn how to play with friends at recess using this interactive social story and activity packet. The step by step layout of the social story will teach your students the seven basic steps to having a successful recess experience and it will provide targeted practice for the skills outlined in the social story.
    • Pragmatic Skill Activity: Make an Imaginary Friend Project: Your students will get their creative juices flowing while they create their very own imaginary friend.

    • Speech Therapy Oral Narrative Activities: There has been a lot of research coming out in the past few years indicating the importance of working on oral narrative and story telling skills to help develop other language skills. Targeting these skills improves writing abilities and other areas of language such as grammar, vocabulary, and pragmatics. This interactive notebook uses evidence based strategies in a step by step, scaffolded hierarchy to help students practice telling stories.
    • Nonverbal Communication Activities: Nonverbal communication can be tricky to teach. This resource discusses the seven main areas of nonverbal communication (facial expressions, body language, gestures, touch, personal space, eye contact, and tone of voice). Each area is introduced with a reading passage and contains an expansion activity so students can practice the skills. The focus of this resource is to help you teach these vague skills using a concrete, methodic approach to improve your student's understanding.
    • A Conversation With a Famous Person Series: This series of activities focuses on practicing conversation skills. Students read a passage about a famous person, then they use what they learned to generate topics, questions, and comments that they could use in a conversation with that person. Then, they have a pretend conversation with their famous person!

    • Expressing Pragmatic Language Teaching Guide: Have you ever had students whose social language skills weren’t quite right, but you couldn’t exactly put your finger on what was wrong? Did you notice that when you asked them questions, they could give you the right answer, but when it came time to use these skills in the real world, they couldn't? In this situation, the problem is with the students ability to express pragmatic language. With this teaching guide, you can methodically teach your students how to use social language to connect with others using the included scaffolded and interactive lessons.
