This is a story that helps assess a student's comprehension of the differences between "por" and "para" in Spanish. These are two very frustrating prepositions for Spanish-learners. There are 21 blanks in this story that centers around a boy's search to find gifts for three family members born on the same day. There are many different uses of por/para that are assessed. There is clip art to make the reading visually appealing to students. There is an answer key for the teacher.
