Poetry Journals/ Poetry Notebooks: There are over 60 poems included in this pack with pictures to accompany each poem. Please note, the kindergarten poem seen in the photo is also provided for Pre-K and First Grade.
These poems are awesome to use for a yearly poetry journal. They are great for reading and practicing sight words. I have my students leave their poetry books in their book bins. When they go to Read to Self or Read to Someone, they practice reading their poems. Even your non-readers can feel successful with this pack! Each Friday my students take their poetry notebooks home to share with their families over the weekend.
