Oh, the Places You'll Go - Goal Setting Activity

Encourage goal setting with this set of activities based on Dr. Seuss' popular book "Oh, the Places You'll Go".

Included in this package:
•Balloon Activity – 3 balloons with writing prompts: “Oh, the Things I’ll Learn”, “Oh, How Much I’ll Grow”, and “Oh, the Friends I’ll Make” & 1 balloon ready to design in pastel colours to mimic the colours found in the book “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss.*
•Goal Setting Activity with Action Plan (2 differentiated versions – one for less advanced learners, one for more advanced learners)- Students set specific goals and decide on a plan on how they will achieve their goals
•“Oh, the Places You’ll Go” bulletin board letters to create your classroom display

*Once all four balloons are complete, students fold each balloon down the middle and glue each side with another side of another balloon. This will join all the balloons together to create a 3-D final product. Cut a piece of string or ribbon to hang from the bottom of the 3-D balloon. Take pictures of students in different poses as if they are hanging from a balloon in the sky (or have them create their own) to hang from bottom of balloons.
