Description

This ocean unit is filled with engaging activities and resources to explore the wonders of the ocean! This comprehensive and fun ocean unit is designed to meet the needs of educators and students, offering a ton of activiites and resources all about the ocean. This ocean unit would work for anytime of the year or for a wonderful summer school curriculum that will have your students discovering and engaged in learning about the ocean.

What is all included?

-All about the Oceans reading material and questions to follow that have students using the text for evidence. Real pictures are included throughout this unit.

-Map for students to label the oceans.

-Activities, posters and information on Ocean food chains, and Ocean zones.

-Why is the Ocean Salty? and Why is the ocean blue? -experiments that go with those questions.

-Learning about Whales non-fiction reading material, questions to follow along with true and false and vocabulary pages.

-Whale and shark cards highlighting specific whales and sharks. Little whale and shark cards for your students that they can put together with a ring to have their own whale cards, questions that follow reading. Also included are full page visuals that highlight key details about each whale and shark.
