Are you looking for an engaging way to teach your health and nutrition students about sugar and its effects on the body to your middle school or high school students? This is a digital escape room that is a fun challenge that will have them engaged for about 20 minutes. It is a no-prep way to review or introduce sugar in nutrition or family and consumer science classes.
In this free digital escape room, students move through 4 clues in a Google form and Google slides to "crack" the life skills codes.
Topics in this health and nutrition activity include:
- food labels
- CDC guidelines on sugar intake
- video about how sugar affects the body
- ways to cut sugar from their daily meals and snacks
*An answer key is included as well for easy grading.
This digital escape room takes about 20 minutes and can be completed by students individually or in pairs and make a great sub plan! Our full digital escape rooms take 40 minutes each.
