Supporting Indigenous Resources for Inclusive Learning for Primary Elementary School Students

This learning resources includes reading activities and video learning links.

Activities include: critical thinking, connecting, sorting and exploring Inuit beliefs in different arctic regions.

Also included is a crossword puzzle to extend understanding and three different mini-book activities for students to display their understanding. (A perfect activity to take home and read to the family!)

This unit, complimented by the other Northern Series Units are perfect for: class discussions, individual learning or independent group learning stations.

While the Strong Reader Series supports beginning and emergent readers, this unit based on the book, can support kindergartens to grade 3.

This Northern Lights (and Inuit beliefs) unit ***CAN BE USED AS A STAND ALONE UNIT *** as well as a book companion to, Look Up in the Sky! Strong Readers: Northern Series written by Brenda Boreham and published By Strong Nations.
