New Year Resolutions and Goals Writing Project and Craft
- PDF
Description
Are you looking for an activity for students after Winter Break? Students will love completing this interactive New Years project! It's just the right activity for the first days of January. Students will determine the difference between a goal and resolution, and then make At-School and At-Home goals and resolutions. This project is perfect for writing centers, as a bell ringer, and as an icebreaker writing project after returning from Winter Break.
Also included in the download are pages for students to explain the meaning behind goal-setting and resolution-making. Later in the year, take advantage of the reflection pages as well! Students can assess their progress through writing about how to stay, or get back, on track.
Easily differentiate the fans for each student by using only the pages that best meet their needs or the amount of time you have to dedicate to the project.
Most students enjoy coloring the pictures at the top of each page, but copying the fan onto colored card stock makes a beautiful fan for reluctant colorers.
These fans looks awesome hanging on a bulletin board in the month of January, and also keep nicely in students' notebooks as a personal resource.
