    Description

This is the ultimate natural resources bundle! You will find lessons to teach about renewable and non-renewable resources, natural v. man-made, and the importance of water as a resource.

The following four products are included in this bundle:

Natural Resources PowerPoint and Worksheet -Natural Resources PowerPoint and Worksheet -

    1. PowerPoint lecture in pptx format. This is fully editable to suit your teaching preferences. Most slides include my own suggestions for different ways to discuss the material being taught.

    2. Note guide that follows the PowerPoint slide by slide

    3. Instructions for the teacher

    Natural Resources Sorting Activity

This pdf document includes sorting cards of renewable and non-renewable natural resources. I have also added a page of instructions with a few different ideas for using this in your classroom.

This is a great way to check for understanding after teaching about natural resources. This activity gives students an opportunity to analyze different resources and apply their knowledge.

    Natural Resources Activities

The worksheet grouping includes four separate but related short activities for students to complete. They will conduct research and then apply their knowledge to demonstrate the importance of one or more natural resources that they have learned about.

These assignments promote creative writing, informational writing, and creation of small works of art.

    The Importance of Water

This activity is meant to teach about water as a natural resource. Students will analyze photographs, maps, and find out what their own water footprint is. There is an emphasis on making connections to their own lives while exploring the larger world around them.

    The pdf includes the following:

1.Teacher instructions, including links to photos and websites needed for the activities

    2. Three maps that can be used for the map comparison station

    3. A four-page worksheet for students to fill out as they complete each station

You will need internet access for one of the stations. That particular station could be completed in partners or groups, so it isn't necessary that every student has their own computer or tablet.

Just want one or two? Click the link to purchase them separately!
