Music Journals and Activities for the Primary Grades- Ontario Curriculum

Product 2- Ontario Grade 2 Music Curriculum- Listening, Analyzing and Reflecting Journal

This music journal is designed for the Grade 2 Ontario Curriculum. The easy to follow activity packet can be especially helpful to teachers new to the Grade 2 Music Curriculum. Many of the activities can be easily adapted to suit your teaching style or taste in music!

Activities include:

- various listening and reflecting activities (that include art or writing components)
- analyzing the elements of music in various ways

With the purchase of this activity, students will learn how to identify/categorize percussion instruments, read non-standard music notation, identify quarter notes, and have an opportunity to reflect on their performance. This is a great resource for teachers new to the Ontario Music Curriculum.
