That's a total of 36 topics for 36 weeks. For example, What are your top 3 favorite recess activities? For each day of the week, students will complete a different task/prompt for that week's topic using the provided weekly record sheet (PDF and Google Slides versions included).
On Monday, they brainstorm ideas with neighbors and create their own Top 3 List. On Tuesday, they defend their #1 answer with a detailed explanation. On Wednesday, they might compare their #2 and #3 answers or expand their list to a fourth answer. On Thursday, students might be asked to pair up with a neighbor, share each other's list, and negotiate to create a new Top 3 list together. And on Friday, the topic is extended in a fun and unique way.
