This is a two-week literature study for the book titled Mara Daughter of the Nile, by Eloise Jarvis McGraw. In this exciting book set in ancient Egypt, Mara becomes a double spy.
This mini-guide contains:

- reading activities – Students will: match similes, identify a motive, arrange sentences in the correct sequence, and narrate a story. Students will learn about: sarcasm, physical setting, irony, opinion/fact, metaphors, point of view, alliteration, and personification.

There is space for students to write all of the answers in this workbook version of the guide. Although this guide is called a guide for Middlers (6th-9th), it is also able to be used with Seniors (10th-12th).
