What educators are saying
Great simple cute fun craft that I was able to use with my Kinders for MLK day. Love that it was something they can wear and identify with.
My students loved reviewing information about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. while making the necklaces. They proudly wore them all day long!
Description
Martin Luther King Jr. is a well known leader who brought about historical change while demonstrating bravery & courage! This necklace "craft" can be made with young children to celebrate his contributions and provide a few facts appropriate for young kids to wear & share.
You are getting the color version.
Students will color, cut, fold and glue between yarn or ribbon... tying it on to "wear & share!" What a fun way to get your kiddos talking about what they learned about Martin Luther King Jr...at home with parents too!
The necklace reads:
Martin Luther King. Jr. - I Have a Dream
He wanted World Peace.
He wanted all people to be included.
He wanted us to love one another.
