Description
This 1-2 day lesson is meant to be the first introductory day of the Marketing Unit, and teaches the concept of the Marketing Mix: Product, Price, Promotion, and Place. I have also added a 5th "P", Packaging. You can easily remove it if you do not want to teach this concept. This lesson can be taught three different ways--either in a lecture format with the PowerPoint, using a Nearpod with interactive activities, or using the lecture video, which is best for online or absent students. Two different worksheets are also included--a simple paper worksheet and a more complex Google Sheet, which will allow them to take notes and also do the minimal calculations.
This lesson talks about needs vs. wants, goods, services and ideas, wholesale vs. retail, production cost, profit margin, logos, slogans, jingles, promotional strategies, distribution, distribution channels, licensing, etc.
