Mardi Gras Interactive Lap Book: Non-Fiction Reading Activity for Grades 3-5

This Lap Book is meant to help teach kids about Mardi Gras, its origins, and the customs and celebrations that take place today.

There is an informational article included that will help students understand more about the celebration and 6 pieces to place on the inside and outside of the lap book to deepen student understanding.

Begin by giving each student a file folder and having them fold the sides inward (see front picture. Give students one page of this packet at a time. Where to place each piece is explained on individual pages.
