Map of our Town

Have preschoolers cut and paste to create a map of their own town. They'll create a map, using main locations in town, and then talk about how to get from one place to the next. This is directly related to preschool CA standards: Social Science:4.3.1: Create their own drawings, maps, and models; are more skilled at using globes, maps, and map symbols; use maps for basic problem solving (such as locating objects with adult guidance).
