What educators are saying

Love these. I made them into a book and we use them to help the students make connections, while matching and classifying.
This is such a great resource for working on life skills! I like that it includes two levels of difficulty.

Description

Engage your students with these life skills sorting and matching mats for community settings and rooms in a house!

These matching and classifying activities help students classify and sort items that belong in a specific household/outdoor settings.

Settings included:

bathroom

kitchen

dining room

laundry room

living room

bedroom

park

playground

Students will determine where each item goes and Velcro the item picture cards underneath the correct setting.

Includes 2 differentiated levels and 16 mats! Level 1 includes settings that include all of the items that match the item picture cards. This makes matching the appropriate picture cards simple for students working on matching or students just learning household objects.

Level 2 includes settings that eliminate the items, increasing the difficulty level. View the preview to see everything included!
