What educators are saying
Description
This end-of-reading activity gives students a chance to reflect on how a book or story affected their lives in a meaningful way. Students choose from 10 different letter templates to help form positive reflections on themes, morals, and messages of books. You can project these templates and have students hand write their letters, you can print zen doodle stationery for them to write on, or you can have students type their letters in colorful stationery using Google or Microsoft classrooms.
The wording is editable on all of these templates!
Greeting Card Occasions include:
Goodbye, farewell
Thank you
Congratulations (for when a book has won an award…even a small award such as class favorite)
In Sympathy (for when a character dies)
I’m Sorry (for when students don’t like a book at first but then get really into it)
Thinking of You
Love
Season’s Greetings
Birthday (for when you want to bring attention how long classic books remain relevant)
