We used this activity in my 2nd grade classroom with our 5th grade "buddies". They all loved choosing their own quilt square and decorating them!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Teacher feedback

"My class have created this beautiful kindness quilt as part of our school's beginning of the year wellbeing focus on relationships and kindness. Every piece of the quilt is different and the words are so meaningful. We still look at it on the classroom wall from time to time, reflect and remind ourselves of the words." - Lyn C, 2nd grade

Use as a mindfulness activity, add the coloring sheets to your calm down corner, give the worksheets to early finishers, or provide the resource to substitute teachers as an easy lesson.

As students add their colored quotes to your bulletin board, you will have a lovely display of positive affirmations to change negative thinking and behavior.

An engaging activity for your social-emotional learning or counselor toolbox to nurture positive character traits and improve social skills.

Teachers report using the bulletin board with grade one, two, three, four, five and all the way to grade 8.

After they're cut out, the quilt pieces measure 7.6 x 7.6 inches or 194 x 194mm.
