How to Play

Whole Class Cooperation - There are two teams. Students take turns coming up to the board to pick a sight word ornament. If the student says the sight word correctly, they hang it on the tree, if not, they put it back in the pile and the next team sends a student up. The team with the most ornaments on their tree, wins.

Small group or single player – Played on board during centers. If small group, students take turns naming sight words and see who has the most! Single player can practice pronouncing words on their own and adding them to the trees.
