Description

This book is meant to teach students what a habitat is and how to match animals to their correct habitats. The habitats the book covers are: farm, ocean, rain forest, dessert, house, hive, nest, and web.

Each page introduces a new animal and asks, "What is a ______'s habitat?". The book is 14 pages long and all pages are interactive.
At the bottom of each page are two answer choices for students to choose from. Students can indicate their selection by attaching a yellow star (also included in the packet) to one of the given answer choices.

This book is great for addressing IEP science goals about animal habitats. The book can be read one-on-one, in small groups, or students can complete it alone during independent work time. This book is useful for both verbal/non verbal students and readers/nonreaders as speaking is not necessary to answer questions and there are many visuals throughout the book.
