This is an engaging and hands-on math activity to reinforce using a number line to add and subtract. Students practice hopping forwards or backwards to complete the addition or subtraction task cards. Then, use the recording pages to write the answers in a number sentence.
These task cards cover addition and subtraction with numbers 0-10 and 0-20 using the number line strategy to solve the word problem. These can be laminated to be re-used, and the task cards have a space for students to write their answers.
