Description

Guns & the Second Amendment Discussion & Infographic Activity

This discussion activity will help students begin to think about and discuss major issues surrounding the Second Amendment and gun control. Students will take a stance on a set of statements before discussing in a small group and reporting out to the whole class. Students will reflect on the discussion and return to these statements at the end of the discussion to see if their opinions have changed.

After the discussion, students will select one of the statements from the discussion guide and make an argument connected to this statement. Students will do research on their topic to create an infographic presenting their argument.
