Growth Mindset with Aesop's Fables - The Tortoise and The Hare

This short growth mindset lesson uses Aesop's Fable ; The Tortoise and The Hare. This is probably one of the best known of Aesop's Fables. This is the story of a Hare who is very speedy and boastful and a Tortoise who is slow and determined.

This growth mindset lesson uses this great Aesop's Fable and accompanying discussion questions and worksheets to help students realize that we should try new things even when we are not sure if we will succeed. Children sometimes feel that if they don't already have a particular skill or talent, they cannot learn them. This story is a great way to show them they should take responsible risks and rise to challenges.

These Aesop's fables are simple and wonderful tools for teaching students the value of having a growth mindset.
