Description

My German Lesson Plans - German Lessons - German Language Learning Games are designed for all levels of proficiency; particularly this Exploring Germany Theater Roleplay Game. Customizable for 2-40 students, this game's length depends on the number of students playing and the time it takes to act out each scene (which can vary from 1 class to 2 class periods). It can be used as a regular class activity or as a sub day activity.

This is my second German Language Game. Also available is German Language BINGO; complete game set. Both of these games are available for 20% off individual pricing in my German Language Games Bundle found here

The Scene Guessing Sheet is featured in the preview.

You will receive:

2 - Ticket Sheets of Scenes to Act (Print 1 of each sheet to pass out tickets to partnered pairs)

1- Scene Guessing Sheet (Print 1 for each student)

1- Set of Directions

Pregame: Teachers with 20 students or less can use this set for 2 total activities. Teachers will need to print a Theater Scene Sheet for each student. Students will write the team names on them and guess the scene acted. Teachers will also need to print a ticket page. Students will pair together and the teacher will pass out a random ticket to each pair. Because of the smaller class size, this activity can be repeated. For each use, teachers will need to print (1) Ticket Page (either page 1 or page 2) and 1 Theater Scene Sheet per student.

Teachers with 21 students or more can use this set for 1 activity. Depending on the number of students in the class, it may go over from one class day into the next. Teachers will need to print a Theater Scene Sheet for each student. Paper can be saved by doing a front and back option. During gameplay, students will write team names on them and guess the scene acted. Teachers (with 21 students or greater) will also need to print both ticket pages. Students will pair together and the teacher will pass out a random ticket to each pair.

Students are to imagine they are living as an exchange student, visiting a German-speaking country, or living abroad. They will be performing some of the most common tasks (asking for directions, ordering at a restaurant, checking into a hotel, etc.) that pertain to either short term or long term living.

Beginning students can pantomime and use their limited vocabulary; while more advanced students can use more vocabulary and less pantomime. Students are to teach the class 1 new word, relevant to their acting task, per performance.
