Game Plan- Developing a Return to Play Protocol- summary/end of year project

This project challenges students to evaluate the link between injury and rehab as it related to return to play in athletics. Students choose a sport/activity from the list on slide two then choose an injury. They will research information about the injury and sport chosen as directed in the instructions. The information gathered by the students will be documented in the slides. The PowerPoint is a template that should be given to students to edit and complete. In addition to researching components about the injury students will research rehabilitation for and recovery for their chosen injury. They will then fill out the return to play protocol template slides. Each slides requires two exercises with description and picture. I have completed an example slide. The injury protocol will span from week one to 6 months. Encourage the students to ensure that the exercises are sport specific as they get to the end of the protocol.
