Description
This is a 1 day project where students will make a home-made lava lamp from a plastic water bottle, vegetable oil, food coloring, & an Alka-Seltzer tablet.
The lab worksheet provides all directions AND includes pre & post lab questions. It also includes a follow up that briefly explains the science behind how a lava lamp works and includes 4 questions for the students to answer when finished reading.
