Reviewing fiction and nonfiction texts? Use these low prep print-and-go fiction and non fiction text feature anchor charts, worksheets, sorts and activities to sort explore and classify books. Suggested uses:

  • Use in the classroom at the beginning of the year when introducing the read alouds.
  • Use the clipboard checklist with every book you read aloud and model how to fill it in.
  • As students become more familiar with fiction vs. nonfiction, leave copies of the checklist in the book corner for students to complete after reading.
  • Use as a review at the end of the year.
  • Librarians and Media Specialists: Use these with your classes to explain different texts to students.
