Description
Factoring Polynomials Spin to Win Game
This is another one of my favorite PowerPoint game creations! Using the Smart Board, students touch the center of the wheel to "spin", then touch it again to stop. If you do not have a Smart Board, you can play the game through the computer with a projector. Students can come up to the computer to click on the wheel. It is important that they let it go around a few times before clicking the center to stop.
Wherever the wheel lands, they choose that dollar amount from the side column. In the case of a repeat, there are three problems per dollar amount, so they click the "next" button to bypass the one they already did.
Click here for a video preview of the game!
I included a recording sheet for the students to record and show their work. All answers are included, just click the "Answer" button on the slide.
Types of Factoring included in game:
-GCF
-Difference of Squares
-Trinomials (x2 + bx + c)
-Trinomials (ax2 + bx + c)
-Factoring by Grouping (Four Terms)
This game runs on a PC only, not a MAC.
