Employment Trends WebQuest - Careers

In this WebQuest, students will use the internet to research various employment trend aspects in the workforce. They’ll explore questions such as “How many jobs does the average person have in a lifetime?” and “What are the most sought-after employee benefits?” to get familiar with the terms and statistics that can impact them in their future. After they answer the 20 research questions, I like to have a discussion with my class about the answers they found. I’ll let them ask me questions as well as make sure they’ve comprehended what they just did. Finally, we end by having them answer the last question on the document which is a reflection question.

Activity is included in a google doc format. An answer key is not included because answers can vary based on your location. This takes my class one 47-minute class period to complete.
