• Understanding Triggers--help students explore the situations that cause them emotional disregulation and begin to think about how big or small each situation moves them from a calm state.
• Coping Skills Lesson--this can be broken down into 3 lessons: 1 to try different coping tools, another to create their coping toolbox and the last to fill their toolbox with the coping tools that would help them regulate when feeling different emotions.
• What Size Is My Problem Lesson-- helps kids to understand that problems come in different sizes and so do emotions and reactions. Also helps to teach students appropriate responses to different size problems.
