What educators are saying

I loved this resource! I always teach about this, but this is the best chart/visual/graph that I have ever found to show the water on the earth. I used it with my 5th graders, and they did a great job with it. A very valuable resource! Wish I had found it sooner!!
This resource was used for sub-plans. Upon my return, the students had a better visual understanding of Earth's distribution of water.

Description

Earth's Water- a Graphing Activity

Students make three graphs.

The first graph will use a grid of 100 to graph how much of Earth's water is salt water and freshwater.

The second graph will use a grid of 10 to show where the freshwater is found.

The third graph use a 20 x 5 grid to show where the accessible surface freshwater is found.

There are two options for the graph. The first one has blank data tables for students to fill in using a website. The second option has the percentages already filled into the data tables.

This product has been updated with the EASEL feature, perfect to use with distance or virtual learning! It can be assigned to students in a Google Classroom. You can either use the digital overlay already created, or create your own! For more information, read here!
