Students enjoyed planning their vacations. I did this activity in groups. The directions were easy for the students to read and follow.
Easy to implement and students were able to complete on their own for the most part. I used this as an end of year activity last year and it was a great activity for the last few days of class. I plan to use it again this year! Students were engaged and enjoyed this.

Running out of ideas during the end of the year? Then this is a MUST HAVE!
This is a Google Sheet activity that combines math skills with technology.
Students will have fun exploring a vacation destination of their choice and researching hotels, activities, food, and vehicles for their trip.
There are two versions included for differentiation:
Version One
- Easier option for students that want to compare their choices, but aren't ready to use Google Sheet formulas.
- The formulas are already embedded so they can see the comparisons after they research their vacation details.
Version Two
- Encourages students to use higher leveled thinking to input formulas that will help them compare the data.
- Includes a step by step guide that walks them through the necessary formulas.
This project will take 1-3 days to finish, depending on the length of your class. There is NO prep and extremely engaging.
