What educators are saying

Very good resource. I was able to use this in my virtual classroom but I believe this can be used in traditional as well.
Great way for students to practice individually OR collaborating as a team. I would recommend this resource. Thanks!

Description

These task cards will be an excellent practice and review item for your distance-time and speed-time unit!

Each sheet has 4 different task cards. There are 40 total task cards, all unique, with a student answer sheet (half sheet, 2 answer sheets per page) AND answer key included. Lots of good conversations to be had with this task card set! You can use it at an around the room circuit, as a scavenger hunt, one-by-one under the doc cam, or even pass them around the room!

This is a CONCEPTUAL speed-time and distance-time graph set. Meaning, this is for analyzation purposes. There are no numbers, no graphing for them to do. This is simply used to see if they can interpret a graph and its meaning without the numbers. For example, can the students tell if one line has a faster or slower speed than another? Can they recognize speed changes? Can they recognize direction changes? Can they distinguish between distance-time and speed-time graphs? Do they know what label goes on each axis?

This also includes an answer key, with number 31 being a good discussion question.

These print out on full sheets of paper, with a dashed line for guiding cutting. They work best when printed on card stock!
