Diaper Absorbency Experiment

This experiment is a fun and exciting way to supplement your teaching about babies. Students will test the absorbency of name brand and generic brand diapers. You can choose which brand of diapers you want to use for this experiment. Students will analyze and record their findings on the table and decide if name brand diapers are better than generic brand diapers.

Name brand diapers I usually use are: pampers, huggies, and luvs.

Generic brand diapers I usually use are: parents choice (kroger), HEB Baby, Up & Up (target).

I do this experiment in my Human Growth & Development class but you can do it in a science class or child development class.
