Depth of Knowledge - Verbs Guide

Have you ever needed to know the Depth of Knowledge level to a question on a test? Or wondered the Depth of Knowledge level of questions that you are asking during guided reading groups? This quick reference verbs guide will let you know the DOK level 1-4 of the question verbs that are used in common assessment questions and questions that you generate yourself. There are 43 different DOK verb cards and many of the cards have multiple verbs listed on them so this will offer you with a variety of reference points to choose from. My suggestion is to print, laminate, and then cut out the cards. Then punch a whole in the top left corner and use ring clip to bind the set together so you have them to flip through anytime you need to!
