Deaf Culture Notes & ASL Highlights

HANDY HIGHLIGHTS BUNDLE ONE are key, highlighted notes about ASL and the Deaf Community in America, condensed into two volumes of PowerPoint presentations. Teacher has flexibility to expand on each highlight to create constructive dialogue with students; with the idea to share your own experiences and knowledge about ASL and the Deaf community.

The bundle pack includes ten highlights and ten review questions PER VOLUME with review quiz and bonus questions at the end of each presentation. Information is presented on visually engaging slides.

Volume 1 and Volume 2 are formatted for optimal usage: the PowerPoint presentation and Review Quiz has been converted to a PDF with slide progression preserved, can be shared on different days, and are also available as printable slide handouts with optional space for writing discussion notes. A review quiz handout is provided, too.

Review Quiz can be given immediately following presentation or next day; information presented and quiz questions can also be incorporated into a final assessment. Answer keys for both volumes included.

This activity is ONLINE LEARNING FRIENDLY.

IDEA: make the review a 2-team game awarding points and utilizing bonus questions for tie breaker.
