Description
These social-emotional learning check-in scales are a simple and effective way to have your students identify how they are feeling throughout the day. Simply present the check-in scale on your board and have students discuss how they feel in groups or partners or assign one of the checks in's on google classroom and have your students circle how they are feeling.
I personally use one check-in scale every morning, I have students discuss in their table groups how they are feeling for 5 minutes. Then I have 5 students share with the rest of the class how they are feeling. Many of my students LOVE this time of the day, and I often like to check in with myself as a teacher as well!
