Description

Creative activities and project ideas for any novel, story, or unit in history. Includes standards alignment for every activity, EDITABLE grading rubrics, EDITABLE list of activities, EDITABLE student handouts that are ready to share in Google Slides, and lots of print-and-go handouts for students. These are perfect for distance learning!

This 52-page bundle contains almost 100 creative student activities to use with any piece of literature. It includes 33 pages of templates and worksheets that are ready to go--just print and distribute to your students. It also includes editable rubrics, links to additional resources, and an *editable* list you can customize for your classes!

These activities can be used for any secondary age group--they aren't too young for seniors in high school, nor are they too old for 5th graders. The activities I included are those that are relevant to today's student: one who is tech-savvy and plugged-in to the rest of the world.

DIFFERENTIATE!

While they are great for every student, they can be especially useful for reluctant readers who want more hands-on activities AND advanced readers who need additional engaging and motivational assignments. This allows for differentiated assignments. "Creative activities" is one of my top-selling items and I use it often in my own classroom.

This IS included in: ALL of my READING RESOURCES MEGA BUNDLE

Research-Based:

Newsweek printed a story in 2010 on the importance of creativity in education. Promoting creative activities increases students' problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, which, in turn, makes them smarter. They need creative activities to grow and learn. This bundle will help you not only with literature, but are adaptable for teaching many content areas!
