Description
This scientific text was a really beneficial resource when teaching KS2 Science: Lifecycles and classification of animals. It clearly shows the stages of complete metamorphosis with explanations and diagrams to support the children to understand this process of change. It explains the cycle from egg, larvae, pupa and adult and gives examples of specific insects such as beetles and butterflies. The questions use the ERIC reading symbols (Explain, Retrieve, Interpret and Choice). Great resource for developing understanding of lifecycles and reading.
