Around the City Boom Cards

This deck includes 35 cards that allow your students to explore the city. Students can answer "who, what, and where" questions about 10 community helpers (doctor, mechanic, teacher, mail carrier, cashier, librarian, chef, actor/actress, police officer, dentist).

Students can also explore the city and watch short video clips (35-50 seconds) about a school, car repair shop, library, restaurant and grocery store. While watching the videos, students are prompted to identify what they see and what people are doing.

The purchase of this resource includes BOOM CARDS™: cloud-based digital resources. BOOM CARDS™ play on modern browsers (released in the last three years).

You can use with most devices (computer, iPad, tablet, or smartphone), as long as you have an internet connection. BOOM CARDS™ are digital resources that your students can play during a session or through teletherapy.

To use BOOM CARDS™, YOU MUST OPEN AT LEAST A FREE Boom Learning Account (just like you have to have a Google account to use Google resources).

Click the links inside the product .pdf to redeem your BOOM CARDS™ and create an account (or add to your account if you already have one). Free accounts include the ability to generate student progress reports for 5 students and to make up to 5 DIY decks. Free accounts include the ability to assign BOOM CARDS™ to unlimited students (without progress reports) using the Fast Play pin option available in the Library.
