KIDS SAY - Their FAVORITE LAB OF THE YEAR! A lab for all ages! Check out the preview! Cloud in a bottle lab. Incorporates the properties of the troposphere, where clouds form, recipe for a cloud, scientific method, data collection, data analysis, and conclusion questions. In color with a color coded in order answer key. This lab can be differentiated due to the teachers discretion of how much information to give. Used in a 7th grade earth science classroom with all levels from honors to life skills. Materials needed are: plastic bottle (2 Liter preferred), matches, and water. The best part of the lab is when students are able to correlate materials and processes to the actual workings of the atmosphere. Enjoy one of the most enjoyable days of teaching science to kids!

Cut and paste or Velcro and laminate for special education applications and alternative assessments.

Within the classroom, this activity has been consistently very successful and acclaimed by students in grades 4th – 9th within multiple types of schools - public, private, and charter.

This work has also been shared at workshops, in-services, and conferences.

Great feedback from parents, teachers, administrators, and curriculum field professionals.

Has been applied to state mandated North Carolina end of year tests for science in grades 5 and 8.

Answer key provided.
