Teaching chemical and physical changes? This product frames the content in a fun, hands-on scenario where the students will be investigating to determine which suspect stole the missing cake. Students will be observing and classifying physical and chemical changes during this lab as well as using 21st century skills, such as collaboration and critical thinking.

Powdered Sugar, Baking Soda, Corn Starch, Baking Powder, Water, Vinegar, Iodine, Petri Dishes, Eye Dropper, Measuring Spoons, Beakers, Baby Soda Bottles (or some type of container or plastic ziplock bag to hold known and unknown samples).
