What educators are saying

I loved using this resource with my students! I also paired it with Bee Bots and we did our "parade." I loved how it includes arrows and programming cards for students to use to help keep the coding organized. Very user friendly.
Thank you for sharing this mat. It has saved me lots of time and energy. It is wonderful in showing how to program the bot to move.

    Description

The perfect beebot coding bundle of resources for any classroom! This pack includes versatile beebot road mat tiles and multi-use coding cards and matching worksheet!

    Road Tiles Resource:

These Beebot mat road tiles are perfect for students to use with robotic mice or BeeBot robots. The tiles are able to be arranged in hundreds of different layouts and configurations as a Beebot grid , providing students with endless opportunities for practicing their coding and algorithm skills. This resource comes with 5 road tiles that can be printed multiple times to form a set of road tiles that can be used to create towns, mats and courses for your Beebot robot! The opportunities are endless!

    Coding Cards Resource:

These algorithm cards are the perfect addition to your coding lessons with BeeBot robots or robotic mice. Students can practice creating algorithms using the cards before coding entering their code into the robot - reinforcing the notion that an algorithm is a set of simple steps and providing an opportunity for students to check (debug) their code. A laminated set of these cards are essential for any BeeBot coding lesson in junior primary!

This resource includes a black and white version, as well as a colour version (colours match the buttons on a BeeBot for greater cohesion) and also includes cards with and without text (forward, backward, left turn, right turn, etc.). A worksheet is also included that allows students to cut their code out and stick their algorithm down as evidence of their learning.
