Description

Based on the Kodály method for an elementary music class, this PDF acts as a visual aid for practicing beat and rhythm. It can be used with a SMARTboard or projector. I recommend using a "Hand Pointer" and letting students come up and tap the beat or rhythm in front of the class. Great for reviewing Beat vs. Rhythm, Ta & Ti-Ti.

Here's a breakdown of the pages:

Page 1: Title, Words, & Links to the other parts of the file
Page 2: Pictures representing the steady beat
Page 3: Pictures representing the word rhythm
Page 4: OOPS!! Find the mistake using real rhythm notation
Page 5: Correct rhythm notation

This, as well as 8 other pieces, is available in my Kodaly Resource Pack for a much better value!!

Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. Don't forget to follow!
