Description
This resource, specifically geared towards foreign language classrooms, provides teachers a 5 page survey to give to students at the beginning of the school year. The survey is provided in both a printable format and a Google Form that can be posted to students via Google Classroom or e-mail. The survey questions focus on gathering necessary information about technology access, interests, learning styles, home life, and personal experiences and goals as they relate to the target language.
This survey is an excellent tool for teachers to help them to gather all of this information from their students to assist with planning activities, providing interventions and differentiation, and developing working relationships with students.
The survey focuses on 4 different topics; basic personal information, learning styles, interests and opinions, and language experiences and goals.
The survey takes approximately 30 minutes for students to complete.
