Back To School Team Building Activity: Survivor Island

In this team building challenge, students will be presented with a plane crash survival scenario. They must choose which survivors are sent back home and which must remain on the deserted island and justify their reasons. BUT, THERE'S A CATCH! After forming individual opinions, they are put into groups and must come to a group consensus (agreement). I have used this activity for years and it always is an ENGAGING CHALLENGE! Students must use collaboration skills - speaking, listening, and compromising - to complete the challenge and come to an agreement.
