The GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-Item Scale) is a screening tool utilized in many mental health and primary care settings, to assess syptom severity associated with general stress and anxiety, as well as the four most common anxiety disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Phobia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). This is a widely accepted screening tool that many clinicians have integrated into their weekly practice, in order to more effectively assess client symptoms, and to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how the individual client is affected by anxiety symptoms.

Through my own practice, I've noticed that many clients feel intimidated by the stark, assessment-like aesthetic of the various forms I'm continually handing them, so I've designed these GAD-7 handouts as a means of making the assessment process more welcoming to the client. These designs maintain the specifics of the original published assessments, however appear with different graphics, to cater to a wider range of clients' needs/understandings.
